Bob Cavallo, Seal's manager and joint founder of Atlas Third Rail Management, was named as chairman of the Walt Disney Music Group on 11th Jan by Walt Disney Studios chairman Joe Roth.
Since September '97, the recording arm of Atlas Third Rail has been working closely with Disney, with Cavallo acting as consultant for their music division. He will be responsible for Disney's recorded music operations when he assumes his new role on March 1st.
The remaining staff at Atlas Third Rail will continue to manage the careers of the artists they represent, with Cavallo acting as an advisor.
