It comes as a very pleasant surprise to learn that Seal has received
a nomination for the 40th Grammy Awards. This years nominations were
announced on January 6th at Radio City Music Hall in New York, and
the final round of voting will begin on January 14th when the ballots
will be mailed to more than 9 thousand voting members.
The winners will be announced at Radio City Music Hall on Wednesday,
Febuary 25th, when you can catch the latest news live via
webcast on www.grammy.com.
If you can't contain your enthusiasm until then, you can chat about the
nominees and awards on Yahoo!s Chat
site.
Of more concern to Seal fans out there is impact this could have on
the still incomplete third album. If the latest release date of March
is met, then an win for Seal could help rekindle interest just in time
for the new album. Let's keep our fingers crossed...
