SEAL BACK IN THE TOP 10 | ||||||||||||||||||||
6th October 2002 | ||||||||||||||||||||
It's been more years than we care to count, but we can finally announce that Seal is back in the top ten.
Along with dance act Jakatta, the new single, "My Vision" he's crashed back into the UK charts at number six.
The partnership was held from a higher position by, amongst others, the soap actress cum "lads mag" fodder cum singer, Holly Valance, and "Pop Idols", Will Young and Gareth Gates.
The mid weeks charts held Jakatta and Seal at number five, the expectation being that weekend sales would bump it up at least two further places. Sadly the mid weeks proved less than useful. Still, it's a top ten hit none-the-less. Let's hope that Seal's record label, Warner Brother, will sit up and take notice that he's still a valuable commodity to the corporate behemoth, and supply that much needed marketing budget for the release of "Togetherland". |
