In case you were wondering, this performance was at a party held by Nintendo of America for clients and press 3 days before the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) trade show.
Many thanks to Zach Meston for sending the review.

Seal played material from both albums (including the expected "Killer," "Crazy," and "Kiss From a Rose") in a set that went about 75-90 minutes. (Who's keeping track of time when they're at a Seal gig?) I was separated from the front of the stage by only one short, balding businessman, so I had a spectacular view of Seal throughout. He made eye contact with me several times (neat), and even winked at my attractive lady friend at one point, causing her to turn at me and scream with excitement.

It wasn't the greatest gig from Seal's perspective, however, because so much of the crowd was made up of businessmen in their mid-30s and up who hadn't the foggiest idea whom Seal was. There was an annoyingly loud level of crowd noise from the chatting business sweebs throughout the gig, even when Seal pleaded for quiet during the acoustic portion of the set. We who were enjoying the music kept shushing the jabberers, but to no avail. Seal never seemed visibly annoyed by the noise, although he certainly must have been a little peeved. (I sure would've been.)

Apparently, there was a "celebrity" watching the performance from the "upper deck" of the Biltmore; child movie star turned direct-to-video star Corey Feldman. I never saw him myself, but talked to several friends that did.

The event was mentioned in the August 1995 issue of VideoGames Magazine, which also ran a picture of Seal on stage.
