hi there:

for a second time, i had the privilege of seeing seal in concert. everything was better this time around, believe it or not. the light show, the band, his performance. he was stellar the first time, but this time he was *absolutely* stellar. :) i enjoyed the fact that he played the guitar on several songs. i'll never forget Blues in E. it was simply phenomenal. I knew the words to all the songs (that's to garth and company) except for that one (i only recently got it on a single and haven't studied the words as thoroughly). he did about 9 songs. i was slightly bummed that he didn't do "the beginning". i sure was screaming it hoping that he'd do it. in november when i first saw him, he transitioned from the slow stuff to the "get-up-and-dance" stuff with a great version of "the beginning". i wanted to relive that. anyway, there's not more i can say. only this: those about to see him, get ready for a loud and very visual experience. savor it!

btw, des'ree was much improved from her first performance. (it helped that i got her CD since then) this time, she had the image of a star. her band was great and provided rich musical embellishments that make concerts memorable and enjoyable. She really was good.
