I was one of the fortunate to see Seal on a very warm evening (yes, warm in Northern California) in July. We sat on the grass at the Greek Theater in Berkeley. It was fantastic. I could not have been disapointed.

I wondered how he would cover certain tunes, because of his use of orchestration especially on the second album, but was pleasantly surprised. Especially when he and his band performed an amazing accoustic version of Kiss From A Rose, which is one of my personal favorites.

His show was very professional, and polished and it was a very exciting 2 or so hours, listening to him perform all of our favorite Seal songs. I anxiously await the next album, but never grow tired of the first two.

Went to the concert in Berkeley last night. It was just fabulous, Seal's voice was fabulous, faithfull to the CD version. Some songs were a little different but I loved it.
I wish he played "Newborn friend" and that the concert was a little longer, but you know, when you love something you always want more.

The sound and the lights were very good and the Greek Theater was convenient for everybody to see the stage. Coming from France, I was used to hardly seeing the stage and be crushed and pushed around.

I was waiting for "Crazy" to come, but I was a little surprised because the beat sounded a little to slow. Same thing for "Killer".

That's it for now. I wish Seal the best for the rest of his tour. If he comes back in the Bay area, I will run to see him again.
